In Flight

I was able to catch Nesrin Danan (also known as BLACKPRINTS) as she was on her way out of the States and headed to Istanbul. Think of this playlist as your go – to for traveling. Be that if you are just driving across town or flying to a new country.

Dirty Laundry – Blackbear

“I’ve been friends with Bear for a little over a year now, and a fan of his since I was like 16, and his new album blew me away. This song is one of my favorites off of Dead Roses”

Run Wild – Jon Bellion

“The first time I heard this song I immediately got emotional because every girl has had the relationship described in the lyrics. Jon is a musical genius and this track is bouncy yet also beautifully grounded at the same time. Definitely one of the most played songs on my phone.”

10 Bands – Drake

“Currently my favorite song for evenings of turnt-upwardness.”

No Handz Remix – CRNKN

“I’m a sucker for a trap remix of a hip-hop song and CRNKN constantly puts out amazing ones. This is my favorite!”

Happy Little Pill – Troye Sivan

“Troye’s voice and lyrics in this are mesmerizing. The video is a beautiful piece of art as well. Not gonna lie I totally fall asleep to this like every night.”

Down 4 So Long – iLoveMakonnen

I am a huge Vampire Weekend fan and when I found out Ezra Koenig rapped a verse on this I freaked out – it’s SO DOPE. I love to drive to a Makonnen playlist and this is probably my fave song off it because of the Ezra feature.”

After giving her selection a listen, I must say that Dirty Laundry was my favorite – it was a religious experience to say the least. For those that don’t know Nesrin, she is one of the most talented and accomplished 20 year olds I have ever met. She specializes in concert and event photography and one can see by her website that she is amazing at what she does. I envy her cool professionalism because if I was photographing Drake or G-Eazy I would go from zero to fan girl real quick.
