Egyptian Magic All Purpose Cream, the peoples choice, is a phenomenal healing balm with legendary powers due to its unique mixture of all natural ingredients derived only from living plants and organisms. Egyptian Magic has been on the market since August 1991 with a solid track record, a loyal word-of-mouth following, and twice the healing power for half the price of conventional skin creams.
I was first introduced to Egyptian Magic back in 2006 as a makeup artist new to the scene in NYC. I only had to see it used once to be hooked. Over the next 9 years, I have continued to find new ways to use this amazing product, and my kit is never absent of at least 2 containers of it.
One of my favorite things about this product is its minimal ingredients. Olive oil, beeswax, honey, bee pollen, royal jelly, and bee propolis.
Made in the United States, it comes in 3 different sizes, all of which are easy to pack containers. The ingredients are all natural- no additives, preservatives, fragrances, chemicals, or parabens. All of the ingredients are moisturizing. For me to list all the benefits of each of the ingredients would take a very long time. I want to highlight some things though.
Honey – Helps with Acne, Scarring, Moisture, Hair Conditioning, Hair Lightening, Anti Aging, Nail Conditioning, Razor Bumps, Dark Circles, and Eczema to name a few.
Olive Oil – Weight Loss, Moisture, Stretch Marks, Scarring, Makeup Remover, Premature Aging, Sun Burn Relief, Sun Burn Protection, and Taming Unruly Tresses.
Beeswax – One of the main things to take from beeswax is that it contains Vitamin A, which provides long term moisture to the skin and hair. It also soothes irritated skin, promotes hair growth, and all around gives the skin a gorgeous glow.
Bee Pollen – Helps clear acne, anti-aging, balances immune system, and hair luster.
Royal Jelly – Found in several skin serums and moisturizers, it is known to slow the aging process, helps de-stress skin and hair, protects from sun aging, balances hormonal imbalances in the skin, and that is just to list a few.
Bee Propolis – Did you know that honey isn’t the only thing bees make? It is true, they make propolis, which is antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, anti-inflammatory. It helps balance the skin making it the best way to round out these awesome ingredients.
”It truly is amazing to me that in 24 years this company has never had to advertise. In those 24 years, it has gained a cult following of celebrities, makeup artists, beauty insiders, and every day people alike.
Here are some of the things I love using Egyptian Magic for:
As a makeup artist, I use it for a dewy skin look, as seen on my gorgeous model Greer. When you bump up the application even more it creates a great sweaty look for sport inspired images. I use it to give hair a wet effect, one that doesn’t dry! For taming flyaways, and eyebrows. For moisturizing lips, removing makeup, softening cuticles, highlighting, turning shadow into a greasy looking liner. The possibilities are endless!
In my everyday life, I use it as a moisturizer, for anti-aging, as a hair mask and as a makeup remover. I also use it on my 9 month old when he has diaper rash, or when he manages to scratch himself with his alarmingly rapid growing nails. My best friend was struggling with Eczema and cracked hands and she had tried everything. I sent her a tub and she now swears by it to get her through winter. Bottom line is, this product has a cult following because it is amazing and if you were to have just one product on your bedside table this should be it!
